F&TS is having a great time ball bringing you the best in fantasy sports, NFL, and the women dominating pop culture. You have rewarded us with your clicks, likes, and follows. We will be forever grateful. From trying to cover the most compelling stories from the world of sports to learning the passions behind some of the most compelling women in the world. It’s been a journey. Our Year in Review features our top five most popular posts of 2014. In summation, our readers like strong women, big hits, and guys twerking.

Year In Review, Fifth Place — Tie Between Paige Hathaway and Katy Perry

In November, we introduced our readers to Paige Hathaway. If you’ve gained too many pounds from sitting on the couch watching sports, fitness influencer Paige Hathaway is the best workout inspiration we’ve seen in a long time. One month earlier, FT&S reported the NFL selected “Ms. Teenage Dream” Katy Perry to headline the Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show in Arizona in February 2015. We can’t wait to see her performance.

Year in Review, Fourth Place — Eric Weddle Big Hit

NFL Football and big hits, they go together like peanut butter and jelly. Surprisingly, this hit by San Diego Chargers safety Eric Weddle in Week 3 was one of your favorite moments from the season.

Year In Review, Third Place — Joseph Fauria Twerk Celebration

Our readers like twerking, plain and simple. Even more so when those twerks are presented in a hysterical way. This touchdown celebration by Detroit Lions’ tight end Joseph Fauria is epic and went viral on social media. We hope Fauria continues to score, just to see what celebrations he’ll come up with next.

Year In Review, Second Place — Holly Peers

We really hope the popularity of this post had more to do with Holly Peers than the Dallas Cowboys jersey she is wearing in one of the photos we published. Holly hails from England and is a soccer fan, but is taking to American football. She also enjoys reading comics and is a huge music fan.

Year in Review, First Place — Sandra Prikker

We first introduced our readers to Sandra Prikker in October. She is a 24-year-old fitness influencer who grew in the Netherlands. Her goal, even at an early age, was to become a professional kickboxer. Unfortunately, Prikker was the victim of a cooking accident that severely burned her face. Without a timetable or guarantee, she would recover from her burns, she was forced to end her kickboxing dreams. When one door closes, another one opens. Prikker fought on and carved a new path for her life–personal training and fitness competitions.

Thanks for reading throughout the year. See you soon.
