Shaqtin A Fool Episode 12, Volume Five (2015-16)

It’s that time of the week again. Weekend sports warriors and basketball fans around the globe get to laugh at professional NBA ballers who are better than us but still make fools of themselves occasionally. In this latest Shaqtin a Fool episode Shaquille O’Neal, Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkey break down the five best fails from this week in the NBA.

Shaqtin a Fool Contenders

We start the week in fails with two consecutive plays by New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony. Ayesha Curry isn’t going to happy that you scratched up her husband’s face. Steph Curry is too pretty to be walking around with a huge scar on his forehead. Nevertheless, Carmelo, we understand that the dramatic flop by Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart could have distracted you, but you’re too good a shooter to hit the side of the backboard on a turn around jumper.

This week’s Shaqtin a Fool episode also features the first of two fails by members of the Cleveland Cavaliers. King James himself, LeBron James missed a dunk by himself. Yes, Lebron, we want you in the dunk contest at the All-Star game, but make sure your hands are dry if you compete. Instead of throwing all that powder in the air before each game, use some.

Cavaliers guard Matthew Dellavedova’s defensive instincts have officially gone overboard. First, he’s taking players out at their knees. Now, he is leaving his man on a fast break to guard a referee. What is he going to do next? Trap the ushers, double team the dancers? Wait for a second, he might want to d’up the dancers. Delly might be down for that. We haven’t seen defense played this bad since James Harden. But in Delly’s defense, The Spurs gray uniforms do look a lot like the NBA referee’s tops. Hey, San Antonio, it’s time for a redesign.
