NFL Week 11 Games; Ain’t Happening Game (2017)
F&TS loves SportsNation on ESPN. Colin Cowherd was tolerable for once and co-hosts including, Michelle Beadle, Charissa Thompson, Max Kellerman, and Marcellus Wiley make us laugh daily. SportsNation’s games ‘Love or Shove It’, ‘Too Many Angles’, and ‘Verse vs. Verse’ are comedy gold. We are paying tribute to SportsNation’s ‘More Likely Game’ with our own Ain’t Happening column. We examine the most intriguing storylines heading into the Week 11 slate of games in the NFL to determine what may actually happen. Let’s begin in the NFC East and the matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys.

Eagles Will Blowout Cowboys in Week 11 (2017)
RB Ezekiel Elliot (suspension), LT Tyron Smith, and LB Sean Lee are out. Dallas’ offensive line and running game controls the clock and sets up play-action passes for QB Dak Prescott. Without Elliot and Smith, the ground game is suffering and Prescott has faced more pressure in the pocket. “Dak” was sacked six times by Falcons’ DE Adrian Clayborn in Week 10. We predict Philly will blowout the ‘Boys on Sunday night.
The Vikings Will Shut Down the LA Rams
The Minnesota Vikings coming into Week 11 of the NFL with a 7-2 record in their first nine games. But, their defense won’t be able to contain the LA Rams’ potent offense. ‘It ain’t happening.’ The Rams offensive players Todd Gurley, Cooper Kupp, and Jared Goff are too potent. The Vikings may have the fifth-rated defense in the league, but their stats are inflated thanks to wins over the Buccaneers, Browns, and Bears this season. Plus, perennial backup QB Case Keenum will not threaten the Rams’ defense enough to tire them out. We expect the Rams’ pass rush to overwhelm the Vikings offensive line.

Derek Carr Beats Tom Brady

Tom Brady will pass for more yards than Derek Carr. Sorry Derek, ‘It ain’t happening.” The bottom line is that the game is in Mexico City, so there is no home-field advantage. Belichick’s game plan will force the Raiders defense to spend more time on the field than Derek Carr. NFL.com projects Tom Brady will score 20 points. Comparatively, Derek Carr is predicted to score 17 fantasy football points in standard-scoring leagues.
