Our NFL Fantasy Football League Standings for Week 5 (2014-15)

With the exception of Team Vega, everyone in the Boldin Beautiful NFL fantasy football league has at least one win. Right now, it looks like the winner will come down to the wire. Here are this week’s NFL fantasy football league standings after Week 5. Who won? Which team owner lost and who should have their fantasy football player card revoked.

Team Marin defeated Team Corn (78-67)

Team Marin owes their victory to New England Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski. Gostkowski scored 21 points on Sunday night against the Cincinnati Bengals. Although they won the matchup, Team Marin left 35 potential points on his bench. This could be the Dumbest Move of the Week in our fantasy football Boldin Beautiful league.

Team Brandi defeated The Commish (100-78)

The Commish was hurt by low production from his running backs and wide receiver Calvin Johnson. Megatron continues to nurse an injured ankle. Congratulations to Team Brandi for getting off the snide and winning his first matchup of the season. The Commish’s poor play allowed you to popped your cherry.

Team Weiss beat Team Velez (102-74)

Team Weiss has won three matchups in a row. Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte and the Carolina Panthers D/ST were the highest scorers on his team. The addition of Odell Beckham Jr. to the New York Giants’ active roster hurt Team Velez’s tally because tight end Larry Donnell registered zero points for his team. Donnell’s surprisingly good fantasy performances of late could be coming to an end now that OBJ will be fully integrated into the Big Blue attack.

Team Mario beat Team Rich (98-67)

Team Rich got very little point production from several of his skill players, such as running back Isaiah Cromwell, wide receiver Victor Cruz, and tight end Logan Paulsen. Washington wide receiver DeSean Jackson led the way for Team Super Mario with 21 points.

Team George defeated Team Vega (92-84)

Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas scored 34 points for Team Vega. Unfortunately, the rest of his team starters scored a combined 50 points. Team George got 34 points from Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. The ‘Sports Genius’ remains winless and is now 0-5.

Team Mike & Brian defeated Team Marino (97-66)

Team Marino’s tight end Eric Ebron scored zero points and after a monstrous Week 4. Also, wide receiver Steve Smith scored only one point this week. There you have it–the breakdown of our NFL fantasy football league standings.
