The 2010 Mundial Made Larissa Riquelme the Sexiest Fan in the World
Readers, meet Larissa Riquelme, Paraguay’s sexiest futbol fan. In the lead up to the 2010 Mundial, lingerie model and actress Larissa Riquelme caused a worldwide frenzy. After Argentine futbol hero Maradona promised to run naked through Buenos Aires if Argentina won the World Cup, Riquelme up’ ed the stakes. She promised that if her native Paraguay won, she would run through Asunción, the capital city naked. Unfortunately, Paraguay didn’t win the 2010 World Cup, and thankfully neither did Argentina. No one needs to see el “Mano de Dios” in his birthday suit.
Riquelme Is a Good Sport
We applaud Larissa Riquelme for her devotion to the Paraquayian team and creativity. Plus, all the attention she received in advance of Paraguay’s 2010 World Cup games landed her a sponsorship deal with Nokia. Riquelme can thank her cleavage and the Paraguayan tank top she wore for her sports success. Paraguay’s loss was the sports fans’ gain. In 2010, Riquelme made ‘good’ on her promise and posed nude in a special 3-D issue of Playboy Brazil. Talk about loyalty. We wish more female fans supported their favorite teams this way. And you don’t need to be a 24-year old lingerie model to do so. It’s the thought, effort, and perhaps a great selfie that counts. Just kidding of course, how women decide to show love to their favorite teams is totally up to them.

Isn’t it incredible what the World Cup does to normally level-headed adults? Could you imagine if Paraguay had won the 2010 Mundial and Larissa Riquelme did the naked run? The spectacle would have caused a riot. Riquelme deserves more attention.
