Fantasy Football Transactions Instant Analysis
Team Velez is desperate to continue his winning ways and is extremely active on the waiver wire. It looks like team owners are struggling with finding an NFL defense that can score fantasy points. The NFL game is so wide open, it’s rare to get more than one or two dominant defensive units per year. Velez is hoping the Arizona Cardinals can score more fantasy points going forward than the Tennessee Titans. He must have a lot of faith in cornerback Patrick Peterson. Unless you were lucky to pick the right team, every week is an exercise in choosing the defense with the best chance to be productive. We could be reading too much into all the defensive moves, teams could in the middle of their bye weeks. We will see.
Other Moves
Yours truly is looking to gain fantasy production from the tight end spot on the roster. I dropped underperforming Eric Ebron of the Detroit Lions and added veteran pass-catcher, Vernon Davis. I am hoping Davis can repeat his Week 1 performance against the Dallas Cowboys when he scored two touchdowns and compiled 17 fantasy football points.
The most surprising NFL fantasy football transactions of the week are the teams that weren’t busy with the waiver wire. Namely, Team Vega and The Commish. Those two owners have two wins between them. Here’s a dollar of free advice. Get busy and inject some fresh blood into your lineups.
