New City, Same Drama.
The wives and girlfriends of professional athletes (WAGS) are taking over another U.S. city. This time, the drama is going down in Miami, Florida. Let’s meet the beautiful cast of WAGS Miami. The new reality series premieres on E! on Sunday night, October 2. WAGS Miami will show up on your DVR if you’re in a committed relationship. As an amateur journalist, I’ve watched E!’s original WAGS show. If you can get over the dialogue, the cast is gorgeous. The cast features Barbie Blank the wife of Sheldon Souray of the NHL. She was formerly pro-wrestler Kelly Kelly during her time with the WWE. Nicole Williams is the girlfriend of NFL free agent Larry English, and Olivia Pierson has dated athletes but is currently single.
The new cast of ambitious, badass women also includes First and Ten Sports Perfect 10 Claudia Sampedro and two of my personal favorites, Astrid Bavaresco and Darnell Nicole. Bavaresco has recently launched a swimsuit line. Darnell is a writer and actor, who co-parents with Reshad Jones of the Dolphins.
