Week 3 Standings.

FTS takes a look at this past weekend’s fantasy football matchups in the Boldin Beautiful league. The league only features one undefeated team owner, Team George.

Battle of the Titans: Team George defeated Team Pablo (87-80)

Seattle QB Russell Wilson earned 21 fantasy points in our standard scoring league and led his team to a victory over the Broncos. The overtime session definitely helped Team George’s margin of victory. Team Marin was hurt by a lack of production from his starting RBs duo of Shady McCoy(Eagles) and Khiry Robinson (Saints). Team George remains undefeated.

Big Rich defeated Craig ‘The Commish’ (103-50)

It was the week of the QBs in this matchup. Andrew Luck (Colts) and Jay Cutler (Bears) were the top contributors for their respective owners. The Commish got zero production from TE Zach Ertz (Eagles) and WR Brandon Marshall (Bears) who scored the fewest points in the league. DAMN!

Battle of the Titans 2.0: Super Mario defeated Team Joel (124-98)

Team Mario has become a juggernaut. His team remains undefeated thanks to over 20 fantasy points apiece from starters QB Matt Ryan (Falcons) and RB Marshawn Lynch (Seattle).

The Toilet Bowl: Team Josh beat Team Brandi (61-57)

Team Weiss was finally able to get off the snide and pick up his first win of the season. The team owner can thank his starting WRs Dez Bryant (Cowboys), Brian Quick (Rams) and RB Pierre Thomas (Saints) who was his FLEX start. Congratulations on the smart moves Mr. Weiss.

Team Marino defeated Team Vega (80-55)

Mr. John Marino (Don’t call me Dan) can thank his victory to WR Antonio Brown (Steelers) and QB Nick Foles (Eagles). They had monster scoring weeks. Team Vega lost TE Dennis Pitta to a dislocated right hip for the remainder of the season.

Team Mike & Brian beat Team Corn (113-91)

The wonder twins can thank WR Julio Jones (Falcons) and the awful Buccaneers’ defense for the nearly 30 fantasy points in standard scoring Jones earned. To this week’s winners, please don’t imitate Spanish footballer Sergio Ramos’ victory celebration. Learn to be humble in victory.
