The Champs Are Here.

Welcome back NFL. The Super Bowl champs aka New England Cheaters will host the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Pats are favored by 7.0 points (Yahoo Pick’em league) and will have All-Pro QB Tom Brady under center.

Fantasy team owners will be affected by the following storylines from tonight’s game. Pittsburgh’s Ben Roethlisberger will set an impressive team record against New England. It will be Roethlisberger’s 159th start, surpassing Terry Bradshaw’s record of 158. Team Marin initially picked Big Ben as his fantasy QB before waiving him. Team Velez then picked up Roethlisberger. Will Team Marin’s gamble pay off?

Missing in Action

Steelers RB Le’Veon Bell and WR Martavis Bryant will not play because they are each serving two-game suspensions. A few words of advice for Team Corn and Team Brandi, make sure you are not starting either Steeler. With the Steelers missing two key offensive pieces, more targets could be going to WR Antonio BryantTeam Weiss is banking on AB being more productive than last season.

The Ring is the Thing

QB Tom Brady will try to put #Deflategate behind him and focus on winning. Fantasy leaguer Team Vega will be monitoring the game from the West coast and TE Rob Gronkowski starts the 2015 season 100% healthy. Team Velez is on high alert on ‘The Gronk’s’ production. Weather-wise, there is 100% chance of rain at Gillette Stadium in New England. Good luck owners.
