NFL Marquee Matchup: Brady v. Manning XVI
Let’s Get Ready to Rumble.
Papa John’s v. Mr. Bunchen (our nicknames for Peyton Manning and Tom Brady) the two best QBs of the modern era square off for the 16th time on Sunday at 4:25 EST. Its the battle of the best regular season play caller we’ve ever seen against one of the most clutch playoffs leader ever. Manning beat Brady in January’s AFC Championship game, catapulting the Denver Broncos’ ride to the Super Bowl (Brady’s New England Patriots defeated Manning’s teams in their three previous contests). The two don’t appear on the field together, but their rivalry is arguably the best in sports today.

It’s a regular season matchup, so our pick is Manning. Full disclosure, Brady is our starting Fantasy Football QB, so we wouldn’t mind if he had a big game. For a more in-depth look at the rivalry, Forbes (yes Forbes) details numbers beyond the gridiron. By the way, we never realized how small Manning’s hands were. Take another look at our feature image from the Forbes article. No wonder he always has to wear gloves. Manning must have trouble gripping his balls.
