NFL Injury Report: Former Giant Bradshaw Goes on IR
The season is over for Colts' RB after a broken fibula--Those are the breaks.
Bleacher Report and multiple media outlets are reporting that Ahmad Bradshaw, the ex-Giant RB, broke his fibula during Sunday night’s loss to the Patriots. The injury forced means that the former Super Bowl champion will be placed on season-ending IR.
Bradshaw had become an extremely important cog in the Colts offense. A career-threatening neck injury ended his 2013 season but up to this point, Bradshaw was returning to his 2007 form. He’s the team’s leading rusher at 4.7 yards per rush and the third leading receiver with 38 catches. Bradshaw had become a reliable target for QB Andrew Luck out of the backfield. The Colts will have to rely on starting running back Trent Richardson.
FTS wishes the ex-Giant great a swift recovery. In other injury news, despite spraining his MCL in the game versus the Lions, WR Larry Fitzgerald is going to try to play in Sunday’s showdown match against the Seahawks.
