About

First and Ten Banner

1st and Ten had humble beginnings. The site was created in 2014 by an intrepid marketing and communications guru to chronicle the Fantasy Football League of his wild and crazy friends from New York. Vulgar team names were created, trash talk was spewed, popular columns such as Bonehead of the Week and Money Maker Monday were created and the league’s biggest loser was humiliated for 365 days. Never taking itself too seriously, the site gained a niched group of followers impressed by the writer’s humor, creativity and passion for sports and pop culture.

After its inaugural season, 1st and Ten has evolved into First and Ten Sports, a new digital platform dedicated to the latest content affecting the Fantasy fortunes of our audience. The more comprehensive site debuted in advance of the 2015 NFL season and will soon be launching sections dedicated to the Beautiful Game, the NBA and combat sports.

First and Ten is a true believer in sports providing an escape to the drudgery of daily life. We strive to create content that is informative, entertaining and provides you with some laughs during your hectic days. We don’t intend to offend or humiliate anyone in the public eye, besides ourselves.
