“The Jake Brown Show” Ep. 33
The Fake News episode
It’s Fake News
Episode 33 of The Jake Brown‘s Show kickoffs with a recap of the Game 4 win by the Boston Celtics over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Championship. Not exactly earth shattering news now, but leave it to Brown to find the nugget worth talking about. According to Cavs’ forward Richard Jefferson, LeBron James’ poor performance (11 points) was because he was sick. Jefferson said, “The King” was fighting a bug.
In case we forgot, in the pivotal Game 5 of the 1997 Finals, the “G.O.A.T” Michael Jordan scored 38 points against the Jazz, while fighting a stomach bug. Jordan was quoted after “The Flu Game” saying,
“Probably the most difficult thing I’ve ever done,” Jordan said afterward. “I almost played myself into passing out just to win a basketball game.”
Once again, James comes up short when compared to Jordan.
When Joking Goes too Far
I admit, sometimes my comedy goes too far and thankfully my boys are usually there to pull me back from the ledge. Someone needs to tell former CBS and Yahoo freelance writer David Leavitt to shut the “F” up. When the news broke of the tragic terrorist bombing in Manchester, UK during the Ariana Grande concert in May, Leavitt tweeted the last time he listened to Grande’s music, he almost died too. Nice job asshole. Innocent kids were injured or perished and you make a stupid joke. Go eat a di#k.

Brown also chatted with Yankees beat writer for the New York Daily News Mike Mazzeo about the youth movement and their success so far in the season. We won’t expand further on the topic because First and Ten Sports is a devoted Mets fan. Make sure to subscribe to the Jake Brown Show on:
