FANTASY FOOTBALL TIPS: ‘GETTIN IT IN,’ WEEK 3
Expected to Go Home Satisfied.
This week, we examine CBS Sports’ Fantasy Football Friday projections for their perspective on the players who will shine during Week 3. Here are the fantasy football tips that will help you dominate your league.
We agree. Carson Palmer is a great start at QB against the 49ers. In SB Nation’s preview of the game, they correctly point out, the Cardinals are 2-0. Few experts expect they suffer their first loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. The Cardinals’ gameplan will focus on keeping Palmer upright. When Palmer started the game last season, the Cardinals were undefeated. As soon as he missed time, the team lost its mojo and were ineffective during the post-season.
CBS Sports’ expert predicts Browns RB Isaiah Crowell and Colts’ RB Frank Gore will perform well. We think they’re wrong. Often times, these experts lean too heavily on PPR leagues for their projections. FTS plays in a TD league, but even if we didn’t–yards and carries shouldn’t be prioritized over the back that carries the load and ultimately scores the TDs. Also, the NFL game has evolved. QBs typically throw more often. WRs that score TDs and accumulate big receiving yards are much more common. The days of fullback scoring from the one-yard line are through.
